Trellis Directory is operated by Oak Street Solutions, LLC, a company based in Denton, Texas. When this policy refers to "we," "us," or "our," it means Oak Street Solutions, LLC.

Information We Collect

When you use Trellis Directory, we collect the information necessary to provide the service:

• Account information: name, email address, and church affiliation
• Member data: the directory information your church enters into the platform, including names, contact details, photos, and family relationships
• Usage data: basic analytics through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and does not collect personally identifiable information

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve Trellis Directory
• Communicate with you about your account or the service
• Respond to your requests, questions, and feedback

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the service.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Your church's member data is never shared outside of your church's directory instance. The only exceptions are:

• When required by law
• With service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, backups), who are bound by confidentiality agreements

Cookies and Tracking

We use only essential cookies required for the service to function, such as session authentication. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics that collect personally identifiable information. Our website analytics are powered by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or collect PII.

Data Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We perform regular backups and follow security best practices. Access to customer data is limited to authorized personnel who need it to provide support.

Data Retention and Export

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request a full export of your data at any time. When you close your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Trellis Directory does not collect information directly from children. Minor member data is entered and managed by authorized church administrators, not by the children themselves. Minors' information is hidden from non-admin directory members by default and cannot be made visible. We take the protection of minors' data seriously and have built the platform with this as a core design principle.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a standard format

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the service. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
